Under our terms of membership of trade organisations we display in our office the price of a simple basic funeral. We understand that funeral arrangements are a very personal issue and to this end, we individually price each funeral.
Many people wish to provide for their funeral expenses and a funeral prepayment plan is a caring, sensible and cost-effective way to do so.
The advantage of a pre-payment plan over a savings account or life insurance policy is that you can pay now, at today’s prices and beat inflation – no matter when the service might be required. The Funeral Director’s fees will be paid by the Funeral Planning Trust at the time of the funeral.
Funeral repayment plans are administered by Funeral Planning Services Limited in association with Funeral Directors throughout the UK. Funeral repayments are held in Funeral Planning Trust with Capita Trust Company Limited as Custodian Trustee.
Most of us, as we get older, expect to provide the money to meet our funeral expenses We’re not morbid. It’s to do with independence and responsibility. Leaving everything in order for our relatives and friends. The fact is that funerals cost money, and we want to take care of the cost.
As independent Funeral Directors, Milne Funeral Services can help you choose the options which will best suit you or your loved ones’ needs. We can also review any arrangements you currently have in place and give our professional opinion on these, as circumstances and wishes may have changed.
We were recently presented with a ‘Funeral Service Customer Care Certificate’ for our commitment to customer service. The award of the certificate was based on the high degree of satisfaction expressed by our clients who purchased a funeral repayment plan. Graham Williams from Funeral Planning Service said,
Funeral directors provide a very personal service but don’t always get the recognition they deserve. We have worked with Milne Funeral Services since 2003 and are delighted that they have been recognised with this certificate.
