Today, many people consider it important to have a meaningful thanksgiving service, one that reflects the person’s life. However, we live within a multi-cultural society and therefore we believe strongly in your right as an individual to make the decision as to the type of funeral service and music which you feel are appropriate, whether religious or non religious.
The service can be held in a local church if that is your wish, or alternatively it can be held in one of our funeral homes, the crematorium, cemetery or a place of your choice.
The choice of the person who takes the service, whether religious or non religious, is again your decision and Milne Funeral Services will be happy to make the necessary arrangements.
We can also arrange for personalised Orders of Service sheets to be printed, and will gladly give you a quotation for the various types available. The contents of these are put together by ourselves, in conjunction with the person conducting the service and most importantly, you and your family.
These include floral tributes for any occasion, coffin sprays and wreaths. To-day, more than ever, the floral tribute is seen as an integral part of the funeral service – an “expression” of the love for and human bond with the deceased. We can assist with choice of colours, flower type and style to convey the appropriate message for the relationship. Examples are for illustration only and may vary.
We are able to supply an extensive range of monumental tributes and masonry art to your personal specification conforming, of course, to each cemetery’s regulations. Other services we provide include grave cleaning and restoration and re-cementing after additional burials. We would be pleased to provide a quotation.
We can also provide catering services for funerals and bereaved families as required.
