Ian recently joined with members other members of SAIF Northern Ireland to take park in an education day. Speakers from across the UK’s funeral sector discussed funeral plans, marketing, grief and regulation.
The introduction of government funeral legislation in Scotland was celebrated as a great step forward for the safeguarding of the deceased and their families. It is the collective hope of SAIF members that regulation can soon be implemented in England, Wales and Northern Ireland (something Ian has strongly encouraged since his term in office as the National President of the NAFD).
