In the United Kingdom only Scotland’s Funeral Directors are regulated, worryingly, the rest of the UK has no government regulation, meaning any person, with no formal training, insurance or premises can ‘be’ a funeral director. We encourage you to use funeral directors who are members of SAIF and who are Regulation Ready’.
